Radio City Christmas Spectacular Online Ticket Giveaway Contest 2007
1. How to Enter the Contest:
a. Finesse Hair Care, Duane Reade Stores, and the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular” Rockettes Online Contest will begin on Friday, November 16, 2007 and end on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 11:59:59 EDT.
b. Internet Entries: To participate in the contest, fill in the required information on the contest registration form at www.finessehaircare.com.
To enter online, an entrant must provide his or her first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the on-line entry form. Five winners will be chosen from all qualified entries. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
c. Limit: Only one Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address.
2. Drawing:
Lornamead Brands, Inc., on behalf of Finesse Hair Care, Duane Reade and Radio City Entertainment, a division of Madison Square Garden L.P. (collectively, “Sponsors”) will choose five winners at random from all eligible Internet entries. The five winners shall be selected and notified via email or telephone on December 18, 2007. If Sponsors are unable to notify the winners by telephone or if the email is returned undeliverable within seventy-two (72) hours from the drawing, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Notification calls and/or emails will be made during normal business hours at the daytime phone number given at time of entry. Decisions of Sponsors with respect to the contest are final.
3. Eligibility Restrictions:
a. The contest is open to all legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Sponsors, their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, the participating theatres, and the members of anyone of the immediate family of such employees and agents, and persons living in the same household of such employee/agents are NOT eligible to participate.
b. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to abide by these official rules and any decisions of Sponsors are final in all sweepstakes matters. Failure to comply with the rules will result in disqualification from the promotion.
4. Internet Contest Privacy Policy:
a. Sponsors shall not sell, lease, exchange or disclose any personally identifiable information with third party non-affiliated persons other than their partners, unless it is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to those persons that operate our website, manage our contests/events and conduct prize fulfillment (“operational providers”), and to protect the safety of our visitors, employees, or property.
b. The personally identifiable information contestants voluntarily provide on our website may also be used for the marketing of additional events, services, and goods by Sponsors, their partners and affiliated companies. Please be informed that Sponsors’ partners and affiliated companies may not have the same privacy policies that we do. If you do not wish to receive such additional marketing information or updates from Sponsors and their partners, you should check the boxes so indicated in the contest registration area. However, Sponsors maintain the right to disclose any and all databases collected by the websites(s), in the event that the assets or stock of Sponsors or their parent companies are sold or transferred.
5. Prizes:
a. Five (5) winners will be selected to receive four (4) tickets (20 total tickets will be awarded) to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall on a specified date. Winners are solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to travel, meals, tips, and unspecified transportation costs. Approximate retail value of each prize package is $200 (Approximate retail value of each ticket: $50).
b. All prizes or prize certificates will be sent to the winners by Lornamead Inc. In the event that a prize is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. Sponsors are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Radio City Entertainment, a division of Madison Square Garden L.P. reserves the right to substitute at its sole discretion, any part of this prize for cash or similarly valued consideration should any part of the prize be unavailable for any reason. All taxes and other expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of the prizes are the sole responsibility of winners.
d. Odds of winning the prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winners (and their guests or traveling companions, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification with 72 hours using the provided overnight courier envelope provided by Lornamead Inc. by the date printed on the prize notification.
d. Sponsors in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the finesserockettes.com website or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. By entering, entrants agree to assume all risks, and to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsors, their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees of any of the above organizations from any claims and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages to persons of any kind caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by participation in the promotion and/or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
7. Internet Disclaimer Language:
Sponsors are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, other causes beyond sponsor’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest, and/or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In the event this sweepstakes is compromised in any way, electronically or otherwise, Sponsors reserve the right to terminate or modify this sweepstakes and/or award in a random drawing the prize from among the entries received prior to the date of the termination. No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the email account, not the name on the entry form.
8. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
